Sequence response task(SRT)is one of the main paradigms of implicit learning.Its variants can be used to explore the influence of sequence structure,number of samples,secondary tasks,non-significant covariant relationships on sequence learning and the mechanism of implicit sequences learning.The discovery of independent learning of multiple sequence provides a new perspective for exploring the processing mechanism of implicit sequence learning: modular theory and dual system theory.Study 1 explored the effect of object response enhancement on positional implicit learning in equal or cross channels.Experiments were conducted using between-subjects design,with the enhancement group,the control group,and the interference group.The differences in the RTs(Reaction Times,RTs increased in conditions when subjects were exposed to the transfer sequence)and the degree of awareness of the three experimental groups were studied and compared.The results showed that:(1)For the cross-channel enhancement,the differences of the variables in the fortification group,the interference group and the control group were not significant.(2)For the enhancement of the equal channel,the degree of consciousness in the enhancement group and the control group was significantly higher than that in the interference group,and there was no significant difference between the three groups in the RTs.Study 2 explored the influence of object response enhancement on non-positional sequence implicit learning in euqial or cross channels.Experiments were conducted between subjects,with an enhanced group and a control group.The dependent variable is the same as Study One.The results showed that:(1)For the enhancement of the equal channel,the intensive group had higher levels of RTs and consciousness than the control group.(2)For cross enhancement,the intensive group was significantly higher than the control group only in the RTs.The results of this study indicate that:(1)The object response enhancement can promote the implicit learning of the non-position sequence,while the promotion effect of the implicit learning of the position sequence is extremely limited.(2)Given that the object response enhancement has different effects on the learning of position sequences and non-position sequences,the learning of position sequences and non-position sequences in implicit sequence learning depends on different processing methods.(3)In the learning of implicit sequences,the processing of non-positional sequences involves multiple dimensions,in which the closeness of the shape dimension and the color dimension is higher than that of the sound dimension.
