The mechanism of digital processing and its spatial representation have always been the focus of cognitive psychology.Negative and positive fraction have many research achievements in the research of digital cognition, but the research on negative fraction is very little. The experiment uses the classic experimental paradigm of Dehaene, taking negative fraction as the experimental material and combining the classic experimental paradigm of the SNARC effect to 45 college students in Su Zhou University to explore the characteristics of the quantitative characterization of negative fraction. The experiment uses digital size judgment to explore whether negative fraction have SNARC effect and distance effect, and whether there is an integer bias in the quantitative representation of negative fraction. The study consisted of three experiments. One was designed in 2x2,and the subjects were asked to judge the negative scores being larger or smaller than "-1/5" and to react with the left and right hands. The second experiment was designed in 2x2,which required the test to judge the negative fraction of the present to be larger or smaller than "-0.2",and reacted with the left and right hands;the experiment three was designed in the2x2 test, which required the test to judge the negative fraction to be larger or smaller than the "-1",and reacted with the left and right hands. The response time and accuracy rate of the subjects' behavior data were recorded.Through the analysis of the experimental data, the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)In the experiment,it is found that the negative fraction processing has a reverse SNARC effect, and the digital processing of the denominator has a distance effect, which can be concluded that the quantitative representation of the negative fraction belongs to the partial characterization.(2)The distance effect in Experiment 1 did not appear in experiment 2,but the reverse SNARC effect appeared. The results are analyzed and discussed. It is considered that there is an integer bias strategy in the quantitative representation of negative fractions.(3)It was found that the number representation of negative fraction did not appear SNARC effect or distance effect in experiment 3,only the edge distance effect was produced on the molecule, and the conjecture molecule produced partial characterization.
