Study On The Fine Brushwork Flower And Bird Painting "Leaving White"

Fine brushwork flower-and-bird paintings have a history of thousands of years,and a large number of excellent works have been emerged.The contents,composition,and color of these works are changeable,but the only thing that remains unchanged is white space.This special method of painting exists only in the East Asian cultural circle headed by China.According to the archaeological data,articles about art history and the fine brushwork of birds and flowers will sort out the evolution of the white space.From ancient to present,due to the angle of object observation and the change of aesthetic concept,the painters have produced symmetrical,focused and mobile forms of white space.Nowadays white space in flower-and-bird paintings is impacted by western culture.This paper compares and analyzes the change of white ground by citing representative modern meticulous brushwork artists and their works.The contemporary western oil painting absorbs the essence of traditional Chinese painting,leaving the blank to be applied flexibly to the picture,creating a new style.It is inspired by the research process and has a new understanding of the blank.The blank will remain in Chinese art,it is the most brilliant pearl in the world art treasure house.
