Zhou Zuoren put forward the theory of child-centeredness since the May 4th Movement and directly promoted the birth of the first batch of Chinese children’s literature, the dislocation between the child-based theory and Chinese children’s literature during the practice, and the re-establishment of the child-based theory in the new era.It has thus updated the "three levels" classification theory of children’s literature that is more scientific and covers a wider range of fields, further liberated creative productivity, and established the concept of children’s literature creation for the purpose of liberating children.The"child-based" theory is in China. It has taken nearly a hundred years from the roots to produce full fruits. The "child-based" theory provides children and literature with scarce resources for the study of children’s literature in China. It is precisely because of this that this theory can represent the highest level of contemporary Chinese children’s literature theory and can be implemented in the creation. This kind of child-oriented concept has a significant role in promoting the overall quality of children’s literature creation in China. The introduction part clearly describes the need for the independent existence of the children’s world and the transformation of the literature view in the process of Chinese children’s literature research and outstanding issues in current research. The first chapter focuses on the birth of the "child-based" theory in China and the West and its twists and turns in China. The second chapter focuses on the analysis of the creative path of Chinese children’s literary realism and the deep-rooted influence of adult-oriented cultural inertia. The first two chapters are intended to clearly describe the "child-based" theory and the development process of Chinese children’s literature to show that the "child-oriented"theory has a positive guiding role in the development of Chinese children’s literature and the reasons for its tortuous development in China.Judging from the general perspective, there is no contradiction between the theoretical claims of the child-oriented and adult-based creative consciousness. The third chapter discusses the opportunities and challenges brought about by the market economy and popular culture for the development of children’s literature since the new century. The realist children’s literature can still adopt the absolute mainstream attitude. The youth literature is objectively juvenile literature.A level of children’s literature complements the vacancy of the work, even because of the same heterogeneity and the attitude of opposition to adult centrism and the child-centered consciousness. This also has a common influence on the contemporary society. In order to incite the fixed boundary of traditional literature and strengthen the openness of literature and culture,it has a positive impact. In the fourth chapter,Cao Wenxuan’s teenage growth novels are analyzed. His works have relatively practiced the child-oriented creative consciousness. With his unique perspective of children and strong aesthetic values,he has provided a good reference for future Chinese children’s literature writers.
