In the Ming dynasty,the popular literature Feng Menglong devoted his life to the works,and his works involved many fields of literary creation.Through his collection,collation,adaptation and creation of the novel,folk songs,operas,notes and sketches are of high artistic attainments and social value.Feng Menglong advocated the artistic conception of respect for love,the oppression of human nature by the moral framework,and the profound sympathy for women who were poisoned by the feudal ethics.He attached great importance to the popular literature,and through a series of vivid female image shaping,enlightenment society,especially the female's independent consciousness.In addition to this,he encouraged women to pursue their own freedom and happiness.This paper argues that it is of great academic significance to explore the female concept in Feng Menglong's works.This paper summarizes the female image in the literature of Feng Menglong,and analyzes the concept of women,on the basis of social reality and writer of literary practice.Firstly,from the angle of political,economic,historical and cultural development,the reasons for the formation of Feng Menglong's female concept are traced.Secondly,this paper comprehensively summarizes the female images in Feng Menglong's works.Through a detailed classification,this paper shows the aesthetic tendency of Feng Menglong.At the same time,we preliminary evaluate the concept of women.Again,we mainly analyze the thoughts of female images in Feng Menglong's works,and focus on the cultural connotations behind the female image,including the "love" and "desire" in the women's individual consciousness.From the perspective of dialectics,this study analyzes the pioneering and limitations of Feng Menglong's concept of women.On the one hand,we point out that women's view of Feng Menglong,deeply influenced by emotional education concept.He advocated personality equality between men and women,and it has a certain progressive significance.On the other hand,as a feudal scholar,Feng Menglong still can't escape from the male standard consciousness,so that his positive female concept inevitably has the limitation of history.This study argues that Feng Menglong's view of women is esthetic dimension with emotion,desire and reason.It not only has important significance to the development of literature,but also provides the basis of history and culture for the development of Chinese feminism.And it also produces extensive and far-reaching influence.
