As the "peasant's son" of HeNan province,Yan Lianke is always gazing at the Central Plains land where he ever grew up in.The folk daily life and the people's thoughts and state of the Palou mountains became the objects of writing by Yan Lianke.This article tries to explore Yan Lianke 's literary position and the aesthetic significance of folk belief through the detailed and meticulous text analysis of Yan Lianke's novels.The introduction part gives a brief introduction of the present situation and creation of Yan Lianke's novels,defines the concept of folkbelief,longitudinally combs the writing changes of folk belief in the narration of modern and contemporary literature,and briefly describes the significance,angle and main points of the topic selection research methods.The main text is divided into three chapters:The first chapter mainly divides folk writing's style into three parts:the ghost belief,the land worship and the folk ritual and the witchcraft according to the folk beliefs nature.The former two belong to the folk belief system,The latter is the state of behavior of folk beliefs.The second chapter focuses on the intercession from the folk rituals in Yan Lianke's novels and the procedural and symbolic features of the ritual itself to explain the narrative function of folk rituals in the text.Carnival celebration ceremony is unique to the folk,the fragment of the ceremony,scenes and changes before and after symbolize the different symbols means;the ritual of integrity determines its own a complete set of procedures,and different elements of the program combination and arrangement form the new procedure,the flashbacks of the internal procedural elements of the sacrificial ceremony,created the unique style of "tracing the origin style" of Yan Lianke.The third chapter mainly discusses the role of folk belief in the formation of textual structure.On the one hand,the concept of reincarnation under the belief of the immortality of the soul is the reincarnated space-time concept and circular loop structure in the works.The story time and the narrative time of the text are staggered to expand the artistic connotation of the novel.On the other hand,The conversion of different narrative perspectives resulted in the polyphonic nature of the text.The interaction between the ghost characters and other characters in the novels allowed the text to accommodate multiple voices.In a word,this essay analyzes folk beliefs in Yan Lianke's novel.On the one hand,this article explores the influence of folk belief on Yan Lianke's creation.On the other hand,it discusses Yan Lianke's integration of folk belief into the creation and finally the uniqueness of Yan Lianke's creation.With the increasing influence of folk culture on literary creation,the study of folk beliefs in Yan Lianke's novels is not only related to the development of Yan Lianke's creative research but also to the study of the relationship between folk culture and literature throughout the contemporary literature significance.
