Study On The Space Performance Of Oil Painting In The 17th And 18th Centuries

Throughout the history of oil painting,space,as a main line,almost runs through the history of western traditional painting art.From the unconscious "shortening method" in ancient Greece,the linear perspective and air perspective in the Renaissance period,to the perspective of light in the 17th century and the evolution of color perspective in the 19th century.Therefore,in oil painting creation,the role of spatial expression can be seen.Today there are still many painters who learn the techniques of spatial expression handed down by masters in the 17th and 18th centuries and develop them with their own understanding.There are many oil painting creators do not have space consciousness,the consciousness of the most basic is the lack of space and space,the main point is not to research the mystery of the master works of space and space played a crucial role in the picture.The 17th and 18th centuries were an important stage in European art history in which the space was mainly represented by light and dark colors,emphasizing the concept of light and color,and forming a realistic space with strong visual sense.This paper mainly starts from the historical background,the creation process and the creation method of the masters in this period,and summarizes the spatial expression techniques they mainly used,and the law of interweaving between people,things and scenes.Finally draw the conclusion:to create a good image of the painting must first has a solid strength,on the basis of the research master space representation,gain understanding of deep space in the sketch,and enough love life,to be able to view and combined with a heart to believe the truth.By testing the above conclusions through my creation,I will help art lovers to create paintings with spatial rhythm and artistic value.This paper is mainly divided into the following four chapters:the first part is the introduction,including the background,purpose,main content and significance of my topic selection.The second chapter explores the characteristics and classification of space in the 17th and 18th centuries as well as the subjective and objective causes of space development.The third chapter elaborates the understanding and expression of space of artists in various schools during this period.The fourth chapter on the above understanding of space,talk about my master after studying the space used in the performance techniques,will be applied to actual oil painting creation,respectively from my towel gourd,"still life" on the wooden pier,oil painting landscape space performance.
