Study On The Expression Of Light And Shadow Elements In The Creation Oil Painting Of Landscape

"Light and shadow" has been playing an important role in the creation of landscape oil painting.In the history of landscape oil painting,from many works and rich theoretical basis,we can see that artists attach great importance to light and shadow.However,with the emergence of new visual arts such as digital image technology,it has a great impact on the use of light and shadow in traditional landscape painting.In the current artistic environment,The application of "light and shadow" in landscape oil painting no longer closely matches with the realistic expression loyal to the original natural appearance,but the artist uses the light and shadow elements to perform the subjective art form.We need to excavate the techniques and forms of light and shadow in traditional landscape oil painting,re-examine the artistic expression of light and shadow with a new thinking,attach importance to the value of light and shadow,and provide more development space for landscape oil painting.This paper focuses on the subjective expression of light and shadow in landscape oil painting.Through sorting out the existing research theories and achievements,and analyzing the relationship between light and shadow and other painting languages,the author further explores the artistic expression of light and shadow in landscape oil painting.Combined with the use of light and shadow by contemporary landscape oil painters,this paper analyzes the picture atmosphere and personal emotional expression in landscape works.Finally,the theory of light and shadow is closely linked with the practice of landscape oil painting,and the artistic expression and visual effect of "light and shadow" in landscape oil painting are discussed in combination with the practice of its own creation.
