Culture symbol is a highly concentrated representation of culture.Malaysia is located at the heart of Southeast Asia.Geographical links with China were established as early as around the year AD.Today's Sino-Malaysian relations are at their best in history.Apart from ethnic Chinese,more and more non-Chinese are beginning to learn Chinese.While learning Chinese,they also became interested in Chinese culture.However,different cultures,historical backgrounds,and different religious beliefs have made Malaysian students who learn Chinese have some differences in their understanding of Chinese culture.This paper aims to understand the status of Chinese cultural symbols in Malaysian university students through the survey of Malaysian university students' awareness of Chinese cultural symbols,their closeness and their cognitive channels,and analyze the reasons for the spread of Chinese cultural symbols among Malaysian university students.Propose effective ways of disseminating cultural symbols and formulate targeted cultural teaching methods in Chinese classes.The research methods adopted in this paper are: literature research method,questionnaire survey method and comparative analysis method.Based on the classification and research of predecessors on Chinese cultural symbols,questionnaires were developed and helped by Chinese volunteer teachers at Pahang University.Students complete the questionnaire.The questionnaire divides the recognition of Chinese cultural symbols into less understood,understood,well-understood,and deeper understanding of the four types of situations.The introduction of the article mainly clarifies the background and significance of the topic of the article,and summarizes and analyzes the relevant theoretical research of cultural symbols and the related research status of Chinese cultural symbols,and summarizes the research methods,innovations,and research processes of the article.The first chapter is mainly about the investigation of Chinese college students' cultural symbols in Malaysia,including the design and implementation of the questionnaire,the results of the questionnaire statistics and comprehensive analysis.The second chapter is based on the analysis of the findings of the findings of the Malaysian college students' Chinese cultural symbolic cognition,including the compositionand analysis of cultural symbols of Chinese students with high awareness and low awareness,high recognition of non-Chinese students,and recognition.The Composition and Analysis of Cultural Symbols with Low Knowledge and the Comparative Analysis of Cognitive Similarities and Differences between Chinese and Non-Chinese Students.The third chapter proposes the suggestions and methods for the effective dissemination of Chinese cultural symbols for Malaysian undergraduates based on the principle of effective communication,based on the cognitive data of Chinese college students in Malaysia.
