Study On The Unearthed Terracotta Warriors From Tang Tombs In Luoyang Area

As an important capital of Tang Dynasty,Luoyang area is rich in historical relics.Its special geographical location makes itself the hub between Tang Dynasty and Western region,making the cultural features of Tang Dynasty in Luoyang complex and diverse.Up to now,a large number of cultural relics of Tang Dynasty have been unearthed in Luoyang area,and scholars have done a lot of research on them,but the focus of the research is mainly about the tombs of Anpu couples and Hu people's epitaph,as the analysis of the system of Hu people's figurines is less involved.In this paper,the author tries to make typological analysis and the study of the period of the period of the Hu figurines unearthed in Luoyang,collect the existing data of the Hu people in Luoyang,and use the method of staging and classifying.It is divided into three categories: single figurines,horses(camel)figurines,horse-riding terracotta warriors.Based on summarizing the types and characteristics of the terracotta figures in various periods,its evolution in the Tang Dynasty is analyzed.As the terraccotta actually restore an evidence,people in western regions come to Tang Dynasty.The cultural factors reflected by the terracotta warriors are analyzed to explore the communication and relationship between Luoyang area and the Western regions in Tang Dynasty.The innovation of this paper lies in: 1.collect and sort out the relevant data of the unearthed terracotta warriors in Luoyang area.This is the work lacking by predecessors.2.analyze the typology of the figures unearthed in the Tang Dynasty in Luoyang and on the basis of this use the method of staging.3.analyze the cultural factors reflected by the unearthed terracotta warriors of the Tang Dynasty in Luoyang and explore the communication and connection between Luoyang of Tang Dynasty and the nationalities of the Western region.
