The Research Of Narrative Strategy About Rural Documentaries

The narrative documentary is based on objectivity and reality.It's resources is derived from events and persons in the existing world,displaying the contents by narrative way,and making itself more interesting.With the advent of the era of mass communication,the factors of mass consumption in China's social and cultural structure have become increasingly apparent,and the development of values due to interest claims has become more diverse,people are no longer deliberately pursuing the acquisition of information and knowledge,but pay more attention to the film.Edutainment factors.That is reflected in the documentary.The creation of a documentary is affected by many factors,such as the photographer's technology,thinking,aesthetics,and later recreation.With the improvement of people's aesthetic abilities,how to combine the rapid development of the media and the audience's favorite narrative ways to change the simplicity and superficiality of narrative mode in the traditional documentary is worth discussing.We should not only pay attention to viewability,but also focus on narrative.The topics and resources of the documentaries have vary ways to display,while the biggest conflict is how to coordinate narrative and authenticity.Therefore,the narrative methods of the documentary should be based on the actual use of narrative techniques and coupled with the principle of appropriateness,so as to ensure the healthy development of documentary.Based on this,I sorted out the narrative elements of documentary in my paper,analyzing it from three aspects: subject,structure,and language,and then taking the individual graduation work," Not One Less”as an example to explore the narrative strategy of rural documentary.This paper uses literature analysis and field investigation to explore the narrative strategies of rural documentaries.The introductive part includes the background,the significance,the situation,the methods,and two key concepts-“story narrative” and“rural society”.It is emphasized the narrative elements of rural documentaries in the first chapter,and analyzed them from the narrative theme and the narrative structure.It is emphasized the aesthetic qualities and perspectival questions in the narrative theme.In the narrative structure,it is mainly emphasized the narrative ways and expressive methods.The second chapter mainly includes the analysis of narrativelanguage,lens,sound and color;The third chapter mainly demonstrates the application of the narrative methods of the documentary in the film,which is based on the individual graduation work “Not One Less”.I analyzed it from the clues,suspense,and rhythm,then the background music,natural sound,and contemporaneous sound,focusing on follow-up shots,close-up shots,and objective shots by shots and expressions;Chapter 4 focuses on the questions in the creation and avoiding similar problems in the future.
