English reading occupies a large proportion in the English learning of primary and secondary school.As the initial stage of primary school reading teaching,teachers should clear the value of reading teaching,grasp the correct reading teaching methods and strategies,help students to cultivate good reading habits and lay the foundation for independent reading and lifelong reading?The research is based on?Primary School English?Part D,publishing by Hunan Children Press,to carry out classroom instruction design of primary school reading.In this research,the author read the education,instruction design,English teaching,and other books.To lay the foundation for the research at first.Then,In Changsha and Xiangtan,the author selected two primary school,After communication with Ms.Zeng and Ms.Zhou,We designed two different reading instruction designs combining with the actual situation of the students.According to teachers' feedback on the instruction design,the author reflected and optimized.And It puts forward five ways to improve the design of English Reading Teaching in primary school.The first is to make clear and hierarchical reading teaching goals,and to carry out the specific teaching links.Second,the design of primary school English reading teaching must adhere to the principle of listening and reading ahead.Third,teachers should guide students to use 5WH strategy and give training for reading strategies.The fourth is to make full use of modem educational technology to provide students with authentic language and cultural environment.The fifth is to classify and design homework.The purpose of this research is to combine theory with practice and provide inspiration and practical guidance for first-line primary school English teachers.
