Chinese classifier has always been a major difficulty for Chinese learners.The noun quantifier is more difficult because it's a lot and complexity of meaning.There are quantifiers in Thai,but there are differences on the type,semantics,structure and usage of the quantifiers in Chinese and Thai.The quantifier in Chinese,especially the noun quantifier,has become an obstacle for Thailand students to learn Chinese,especially on the initial stage.Most of the existing research focuses on ontology research of quantifier.On the lack of scientific and effective discussion on methods of teaching noun quantifier.Thailand Vocational Education Committee students have the characteristics in Chinese learning like poor foundation,less time and pay no attention.The teaching of Chinese noun quantifier for them should be more detailed.On the basis of the achievements of previous studies,This paper discuss proper method of teaching noun quantifier by investigate the teaching status of name quantifier of Thailand Vocational Education Committee teachers and students.The ballad teaching method has always been paid attention to in the language teaching of children.But it was basically not used in the Thailand Vocational Education Commission System.This paper boldly put forward that use the ballad method to teach noun quantifier According to the characteristics of the students in Thailand.And made a positive attempt on the writing of the noun quantifier ballad.The thesis is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is the introduction.It gives a systematic overview of the background,purpose and significance of this paper and carried out a literature review,introduces the research ideas and methods of this paper.The second chapter examines the teaching and studing situation of the noun quantifier of Thailand Vocational Education Committee students from three aspects of teaching materials,teachers and students.Analysis of the selection of the name quantifier of teaching material,the present situation of the teaching of the noun quantifier and the present situation of studing and using noun quantifier.The third chapter has carried out the teaching discussion on the basis of understanding the present situation of teaching and studing the noun quantifier in the Thailand Vocational Education Commission system.This paper discusses four teaching methods fit the teaching of Chinese classifiers in Thailand Vocational Education Commission,there are Inductive method,Chinese and Thai contrastive methods,Context teaching method and Ballad teaching method.The fourth chapter puts forward the teaching suggestion of "Ballad teaching method" for the teaching of Chiese noun quantifier for Thailand Vocational Education Committee students.And wrote some Ballads In the light of the problem of students learning Chinese noun quantifier.This paper summarizes the great significance of the ballad teaching method to the teaching of the noun quantifier in Thailand.
