The Mid Ming Dynasty was the second clima x of communication between Mongolian and Tibetan s ince Yua n Dynasty. In this period, Tibetan Buddhis m played a significant role which made the relations hip bring obvio us religio n brand, widely different fro m others. Therefore, it's important to comb and analys is related historica l documents for Mongolia n and Tibetan relat ions hip.In this stage, there were two remarkable histor ical figures, one was Andahan who was Tumet tribe 's leader, the other was Bsod- nams rgya- mtsho who was the leader of Geru Sect. In their joint efforts, Tibetan Buddhis m wide ly spread in Mongolia, exerting great influence on polit ics, economy, culture and custom.O n the basis of consult ing a great amount of historical materia ls, ancien t codes and records, monographs and papers, this paper revolves around Mongolian and Tibetan relations hip and analyzes in the angle of Andahan. It can be divided into three sections, narrating the Mongo lian and Tibetan society before their meet ing and the deeply reasons, the de tails of the yanghua temple meet ing, the great influence and characteristics of this meet ing.At that mome nt, the land mark event was Yanghua Te mp le Meeting w it hout doubt, it also represented the beginning spread of Tibetan Buddhis m a mong Mongolia. Andahan w ho was leading local leaders and Bsod- nams rgya- mtsho who was leading other eminent mo nks, their endeavor vastly accelerated the spread of Tibetan Buddhis m in Mongo lia.The second joint of Mongolia n and Tibetan have great significance, that it not only changed the positio n of departments in Mongolia and promoted Tumet tribe's position, but a lso he lped Geru Sect acquired dominant posit io n. In other words, Mongolia n and Tibetan obtained Win- win comp lexion in nat iona l relat ion.There are several traits show ing up at that mo ment. F irst of all, Tibetan Buddhis m was throughout the who le process. Secondly, the two of them both aimed at each polit ical goals. Third ly, the great influe nce and the long t ime and wide ly spread area are less common in history. Last o f all, t he Mongo lian in this relatio nship w ith the Tibetan pla yed leading role fro m beginning to end.
