Archaeological Research On The Tombs Of Liao Dynasty In Chaoyang Area

The Tombs of the Liao Dynasty as Places for the Residents of the Liao Dynasty to die,was the custom,economy,ideology and other aspects of the direct reflection in the past.the tombs of Liao Dynasty in Chaoyang area with its abundant number of diverse shapes,widely distributed,the continuation of the characteristics of strong and famous,is the valuable materials for studying the history and culture of the Liao dynasty.This article mainly analyzes the Tombs ofLiao Dynasty in Chaoyang area from four aspects:the basic features,clan classification,age determination,stage characteristics and causes.This thesis mainly studys on the complete form tombs of Liao Dynasty found in the Chaoyang area,according to the tomb construction style and different materials can be divided into the following five majors categories:Group A is tomb with a pit stone(brick)box,Group B is stone-chambered tomb,Group C ismasonry tomb,Group D is brick-chambered tomb,according to the number of all kinds,and the tomb"type",in the"type"is based on the shape(the main burial chamber shape)to distinguish between"subtypes",according to the differences of various subtypes of the structure".On the basis of epitaph,funerary objects,tomb decoration,funeral customs and other factors,comprehensive consideration of the tombs of Liao Dynasty in Chaoyang area s judge division and in the family,through the data statistics and chart analysis,documentary evidence and other methods of related problems are explored and elaborated.After a preliminary study,this paper will be divided into the tombs of Liao Dynasty of Chaoyang area of Khitan nationality and Han nationality,tstone-chambered tomb and earthen tomb with a outer coffins is the main form of he Khitan tombs,and the Han tombs is contain brick-chambered tomb and tomb with a pit stone(brick)box.According to the distribution of different clan tombs in the Chaoyang area in Chaoyang City as the center of the Han inhabited areas,including Jianping county and Lingyuan City,the Khitan people gathering area and includes Beipiao City,Chaoyang County and Kazuo,Khitan people,Han inhabited areas and the three regions.On the basis of previous research,the early,middle and late periods of the three division of the Liao Dynasty tomb in Chaoyang Area:the overall trend of the Khitan Liao Dynasty tomb is based on keeping the ethnic characteristics of the Chinese gradually deepened,the final"Khitan and Han confluence",the national characteristics gradually disappear;the Han tombs of the Liao Dynasty showed more noble the Liao Dynasty Chaoyang military aristocratic family from prosperity and decline,the change of social structure instead of emerging small aristocracy.
