A Comparative Study Of Two Sihu Fiddles Popular Among Mongolian People And Han People In China

Sihu,a stringed musical instrument shared by the Mongolian and Han people,has a distinctive national character.The Mongolia Sihu not only presents in the form of solo,but it is also used to accompany Huru Ulger,Holboo,Narrative Folk Songs and so on.And the Han Sihu is the main accompaniment instrument used in North Quyi and opera.Zhangjiakou and the Horqin Region,the main spread place of East popular Inner Mongolia song-and-dance duet and Hulch music,are the representative areas of the integration of the.Mongolian and Han Nationalities.Sihu plays an important role in the local music.Based on the collision and fusion of the Mongolian and Han cultural plates in the modern historical context,this paper sorts out the relevant historical documents.The paper is based on the content of the East Road duet performances,the Sihu Horqin family gatherings and in-depth interviews showed the presence of national folk heritage of the ethnographic case.The paper explores the commonness and individuality of Chinese Mongolian Sihu music from the record,analysis and comparison of the active Sihu music.By combining my own learning experience of playing Mongolian Sihu,this article hopes to show the music theory and practice of intertextual experience.This paper conducts a comprehensive investigation and study of Mongolian and Han mixed area in Sihu,explains the similarities and differences between music and music culture connotation of national consciousness,and intergrowth between Mongolian and Han culture.Research shows that:the Mongolia Sihu in Horqin is still the mainstream representative musical,existing in Mongolian People's diverse music life.Its music is rich in variety and rich in technique.The professional and systematic structure has formed from the performance team to creative talents.The Han Sihu in Zhangjiakou just depends on its brand of the popular Nei Monggol song-and-dance duet.Besides,the inheritance system is very limited,and the music and performance retain traditional styles.But most of duets are played by Mongolia Sihu,which may be the influence of long-term infiltration between Mongolian and Han nationality.
