The development of the phonetics system is embodied in the changes of opening mouth and closing mouth. So it contributes to uncovering the law of the phonetics development when we understand and analyze the variety process of opening and closing mouth.According to the angles of Kai-He, this paper makes three aspects of the work. First, The Whole Research. Make comprehensive explanation to the questions which involve opening and closing mouth. Include the meaning, present researching of Kai-He and some other questions about Kai-He. Second, The Synchronic Research. According to the Revision of GuangYun which came from Zhou Zumo we analyze the two systems of mediaeval times on the three levels of finale, Xiaoyun and character. Make exhaustive statistics about the distribution of Kai-He on four tons, four divisions and five points of articulation. On the ground of this, we analyze and compare to explore the rule of opening and closing mouth. Third, The Diachronic Research. This part compares the corresponding relationships between Sihu and Kai-He in mediaeval times. Then, sum up the features of historical development.
