The Nazi took power from 1933 to complete defeat in 1945,during which more than a thousand films were made.About one-sixth of them were direct political propaganda. Most of them were state-funded and state-entrusted political propaganda films. In addition,it also includes a small number of documentaries.Political propaganda films and documentaries are important carriers of Nazi ideology. They instilled,in a systematic and planded manner, various topics of Nazism such as Fuhrerprinzip,nationalism,anti-Semitism,anti-Bolshevikism and militarism through the screen to Germany people. The public, from the ideological infiltration into the daily life of the people.During Nazi's rule time, the propaganda department also adjusted the purpose and strategy according to the changing situation in politics and war.Since the Nazis took power, they attached a great importance to the control of the film industry.Through the various means such as financing, mergers and reorganizations, film review mechanisms,Pradikate, and employee membership, the Nazis have rapidly incorporated the German film industry into the centralized system.State-owned and large-scale film company was firmed.Through the interpretation of political propaganda films,it is shown that Nazism's thoughts through a series of conversions finally appear as plots, characters, lines, and camera language on the screen. After the outbreak of WWII,the Nazis shifted their propaganda focus to news films and news documentaries. These films can be seen as a continuation of the style and content of political propaganda films. The news media reported on the frontline situation to the public in order to stabilize the sentiments of the public and conduct publicity campaigns. After the Battle of Stalingrad, the Nazis' military offensive was restrained.Hitler and Goebbels gradually chose the propaganda attitude of escapism. The political propaganda of the Nazis gradually became distorted and illusory. This article analyses the deep and strong relationship between the content of the film and the political, military, and social situations at each era of the Nazi ruling,by the means of combining historical materials and video material, and integrating historical theory, film science, and communication theory. This study finds out, that the film culture of the Nazi was a balancement of the political propaganda and the artistic aesthetics, and the two attributes formed a relatively perfect symbiotic relationship. From a certain point of view, the Nazi film propaganda was successful. These films bridged the Nazi's ideological connotations and the spiritual and cultural needs of the German people and provided Nazi racism, dictatorship, aggression and political authoritarianism,an inhabitant of nationalism, history, cutural tranditions, and realism.Political content is packaged in exquisite artistic expressions. From a realistic point of view, the Nazis produced a large number of strongly agitative films and television works, which largely shaped the collective consciousness of the German people. The Nazis took advantage of this consciousness, packaged the radical political program into the revival of Utopia, the grand national revival of the film, and drove the German people to plunder the war, thus bringing endless disasters to the German people,as well as the people of the world.
