Semantic Research On The Emoticons Language Network

With the rapid development of the Internet and new media,emoticons have become an indispensable part of online social networking.Emoticons as a non-language visual symbol and a most important carrier to convey emotional communication have become a new way for people to communicate in a social networking platform.Emoticons are more intuitive and simple in the network social communication,making the communication more vivid and interesting.It not only enhances the subtle feelings of the communicators,but also expresses the various emotions and the true picture of the heart that the language can not be described.The use of emoticons must be interpreted in a specific context so that communication can produce different meanings in different contexts.This paper starts with the study of the semantics of emoticons in online social networking.Firstly,emoticons are generated under the great context of the Internet environment.It explains the theory of semiotics,introduces the concept of symbols,the origin of semiotics,the course of development and the function and meaning of symbols,and then introduces the concept,the origin of history,the formation and development of the emoticons.Secondly,as a new online social language,emoticons language analyzes the cause of its rise,explains the expressions of emoticons in online social networking,and analyzes the status of emoticons in the network social platforms and its new visual rhetorical methods.Thirdly,the focus is to explain the expression of emoticons in the social network is the visual communication of the mental semantics,introducing the meaning of the visual semantic,the expression of emoticons with emphasis,relaxation,excitement,entertainment and other related meanings,the expression of emoticons in the form of ideographic expressions,the expressive internal resonances of emoticons and the extension of its true expressions.Finally,It summarizes the development trend of emoticons and the innovative design and development practice in the design of “Cheng Chenghou” emoticons.
