The objects of this dissertation are the Neolithic Culture remains in the capital circle of China."The capital circle of China" refers to Beijing,Tianjin and parts of Hebei Province which is close to Beijing and Tianjin.The north of the area reaches the South Yan Mountain,the west of the area reaches the East Taihang Mountain,the east of the area is close to Bohai Bay,and the south of the area faces the Jizhong plain.On the basis of comprehensive collection of materials,this dissertation uses Archaeological stratigraphy and typology to group the remains of each site through the analysis of the exemplary relics of the excavations.On the basis of the overall grasp of the characteristics of each group,combing with the 14C dating data,we devide the remains of all the Neolithicc culture sites in this area into five phases.On the basis of the phase-division,a cultural element analysis of remains in every phase is carried.We divide the remains into 9 different archaeological cultures,discuss their age?distribution and periodization,and build the temporal and spatial framework of Neolithic Archaeological Culture of this area.
