Da Hu culture,characterized by the Grey-Black pottery,is the most representable archeological culture in the Neolithic culture at South Taiwan region.There were only a few ruins have been discovered before the discovery of the Tainan Science Park ruin.The discovery of the Tainan Science Park ruins provided the opportunity to fulfill our knowledge of the Da-Hu culture by understanding Taiwanese society in 3,300 years ago.In chapter ? of the thesis,introduced the temporal and spatial background of this study,subjects of the study,and review of Taiwan and Da Hu archeological history.Moreover,the process of the Tainan Science Park ruin discovery has been summarized,and the proposal of the study has been proposed.In chapter ?,identified the ruins from the Tainan Science Park and described the discovery processes and tomb characteristics at 14 sites.Based on the tomb traits,specified the types of tombs for different sex and age by applying statistical analysis.In chapter ?,classified the ruins into five groups by its landscape types and Carbon-14 data and established of the temporal and spatial relationships among the groups.Also discussed the connection between the ruins and the potential cultural interactions among the ruins based on the tomb traits and funerary comparison.In chapter ?,discussed how the people of Tainan Science Park ruin utilize environmental resources.Discussed the subsistence strategy of people of the Southern Tainan Science Park ruin based on the type and the abundance of excavated tools,plant,and animals.Besides,the environmental condition that people of Da Hu culture had faced was speculated based on the environmental condition of the plants and animals.In chapter ?,Research the archaeological cultures relationship among the Da Hu culture,Niu Chou Zi Cultuer and.Niao Song Cultuer Also compared the Yua Shan Cultuer?Yin Pu Cultuer?Bei Nan Cultuer and Da Hu culture which belong to the late Neolithic Culture of Taiwan to examine the potential cultural interaction among these cultures.Furthermore,I explored the origin of the Da Hu culture by listing the characteristics of Huang Tu Lun culture,Quj Jia Ling culture at the middle and lower reaches of yangtze River,and Shi Jia He culture,and the relationship of these cultures and the Da Hu culture.Finally,summarized the significance of the thesis study and the deficiency in the study.
