"brightness" And "blindness" In Kawabata Yasunari's Novels

As a representative writer of classical and exquisite beauty in Japanese literature,Kawabata Yasunari(1899-1972)works with the immortal beauty of "words with endless meaning" and the beauty of the spirit and purity of "the flowers in the mirror,the moon in the water".The study of Kawabata Yasunari and his works has been enduring,not only from the writer of the first Nobel prize for literature in Japan,but also for the profound significance and unique spirit of his works.However,the literary study of Kawabata Yasunari is mainly concentrated on several important works which have won the Nobel prize for literature.In his works,few short stories,such as "beautiful travel" and "young maiden",are seldom paid attention to,and few of them have been studied.However,it is no accident that Kawabata created a group of "blind men".This article uses Kawabata Yasunari to describe several novels of the blind girl as the breakthrough point,taking "brightness" and "blindness" as the contrast,to explore how Kawabata Yasunari's "blind" people perceive the world,and then explore the difference between the world of "brightness" and "blindness" in the world of Kawabata Yasunari.As a framework,the full text is divided into six parts.The introduction briefly combs the research status of the Japanese and Chinese mainland on Kawabata Yasunari literature,and then leads to the necessity of the study of his "blind figure" image.The first chapter combs the history and related works of Kawabata Yasunari's Buddhist impregnation,and gives a brief introduction to the three works which take the blind characters as the main characters,namely,"the girl's eyes","the beautiful travel" and "the blind and the Maiden".The second chapter combines "brightness" and "beauty" to see the beauty of the world.For these visual enjoyment,beauty is sublimated.Beauty is the reflection and feeling of the soul.The beauty lies in our discovery,and the existence of beauty is also manifested by human beings.The third chapter makes a dialectical consideration of "blindness" and "beauty" in order to build the beauty of blind people.As a contradictory unity of the beauty and blindness of the external image,"the blind girl" coincides with the coexistence of light and darkness;although the blind people are incomplete,they can still perceive and construct the world with the mind and touch the truth and meaning of life.The fourth chapter,on the basis of the demonstration of "brightness" and "blindness",tries to analyze the relationship between Kawabata Yasunari and the world of perception,and makes an in-depth discussion on Kawabata Yasunari's creation intention and concept of "blind people".It mainly excavates the perception and understanding of the blind people for time and space,as well as the differences in comparison with the ordinary people,and thus brings out the subject of "the whole body touches the world".The fifth chapter attempts to explore the conjunction between Buddhism and Kawabata Yasunari's blind characters,and to explore the ultimate significance of Kawabata Yasunari's works.First,the origin of Kawabata Yasunari and Zen is traced,and the heart of Kawabata Yasunari's creation and the famous Buddhist monks in Japan is revealed,and then the origin of Kawabata Yasunari and the images of the creative people are also asked.Secondly,it discusses Kawabata Yasunari's attitude towards death,that is,the meaning of "dying eyes".From the eye of the body to the eye of the soul,and to the "deathbed eye" of the human world,Kawabata Yasunari completed a final proposition related to life through his series of blind figures.
