The Intercultural Communication Of Confucian Culture In Vietnam

Vietnam is one of the countries in the East Asian cultural circle.Although geographically speaking,Vietnam belongs to the Southeast Asia region,but because of Vietnam’s connection with Chinese borders,and historically,Vietnam’s central and northern regions have long existed as part of China.Vietnamese culture is deeply influenced by Chinese culture,especially the influence of Confucian culture on feudal society in Vietnam.As the guiding ideology of Vietnam’s feudal dynasty,Confucianism has a significant influence on culture,education,politics,and society.In terms of culture,Confucian culture is a very important part of the formation of traditional Vietnamese culture.In the process of the introduction of Confucianism into Vietnam,Vietnam imitated the form of Chinese schools and imperial examinations,set up schools nationwide,developed education,and implemented the bureaucrats of the imperial examination system.Vietnam therefore pays special attention to family education,thus forming a spirit of respecting teachers,honoring elders,loving each other and paying attention to the spirit of a civilized society.As a temple for Confucian education,the Confucian Temple and Imperial College has become a symbol of the spread and development of Confucian culture in Vietnam.Although it has undergone modern social reforms,Vietnam still retains many temples.Among them,the Hanoi Confucius temple is the largest Confucian temple in Vietnam,and its preservation on architecture is relatively comprehensive.In particular,82 Scholars nominated monuments represent the education and imperial examinations in Vietnam.This thesis studies the historical development and influence of Confucian culture in Vietnam from the perspective of cross-cultural perspectives,including the history,architecture,figures and activities of Vietnamese temples,and through combing literature on Confucian culture and Confucian Temple and field surveys.Research on the cross-cultural communication of Confucian culture in Vietnam.
