Research Of Subway Guiding Sign System Design Based On User's Space Experience Analysis

In the 21st century of technology and information explosion,the level of human exploration and utilization of underground space has jumped to a new level.The subway is not only a kind of convenient public transportation,but also more like the arteries under the city's surface,delivering people in every corner of the city.The guiding sign system is a ID card for urban subways.Rapidly growing people in the flood have put forward new demands for the space experience brought by the subway-oriented signage system.This article takes the user's spatial experience as an entry point and describes the research results in three phases:A.Theoretical research has deconstructed and analyzed the principles of human behavior,spatial cognition,and rules for the establishment of cognitive maps based on previous researches,and proposed an interactive model of users,space,and guiding sign system,providing theoretical support for the next step of study.B.Using a variety of user research methods for user experience research.Using interviews and questionnaires to collect user opinions,trends,and behavioral characteristics,using persona methods and empathy map to organize surveys into demand points;designed an experiment to explore the relevance of user's visual information and user behaviors,and obtain existing guidance through experiments.The identity is set in the role of the user behavior dimension,the reason for the impact on the user space experience,and the improvement measures.Then the definition of user requirements is analyzed and related design guidelines are given.C.The design practice part took the Jinan Subway guiding sign system as an example,based on previous theories and enriched theoretical research in practice.This paper analyzes the local characteristics of Spring City,which has rapid development of infrastructure and has unique cultural genes,and proposes a highly practical solution for the design of subway-oriented signage systems.From a broader perspective,this paper proposes a design concept and orientation of "user-centered design".Through the study of human behavioral psychology,cognitive laws,and the relationship between the environment,and explore the design method of subway spatial guidance system.
