Ancient tombs play an important role in cultural heritage,and groundwater seepage is its major geological hazard.The existence of groundwater has a major impact to the safety of ancient tombs.The safety of cultural relics is the bottom line of the cultural relics protection work.The cultural relics' work always starts from zero,so it must be applied with complex hydrological and geological conditional water seepage prevention measures.At present,the governance principles of blocking,cutting,and platooning are generally adopted to manage the problem of water seepage at ancient tomb sites,but no research and systematic results have yet been formed.This paper systematically studies the seepage mechanism and anti-seepage control method of ancient tombs in soil layers in semi-humid areas.The main research work is as follows:Study the treatment results of the ancient tomb seepage and the application development of anti-seepage technology.A comprehensive investigation and analysis of the value,architectural forms and diseases of ancient tombs are carried out.Those works can provide good reference for the development of a safe and correct anti-seepage plan for ancient tombs.Establish an integrated system for anti-seepage engineering of ancient tombs,which mainly includes: survey of ancient tomb diseases,analysis of mechanism of water seepage in ancient tombs,evaluation of ancient tomb stability,proposal and demonstration of anti-seepage plan,design of construction drawings,principle of anti-seepage construction,rehabilitate treatment and so on;It is proposed that anti-seepage engineering of ancient tombs is mainly studied from several aspects such as seepage prevention measures at the tomb top,anti-seepage measures at the surrounding area,and anti-seepage measures at the bottom of the tomb.The polymers are commonly used for seepage prevention of earthen embankments.In the project,the feasibility was analyzed.Considering the special conditions of the ancient tombs,the optimization and design of polymer impervious curtains were improved.The theoretical calculations were used to determine the depth of water-stop curtain insertion.FLAC3 D numerical simulation technology was used to simulate and analyze the pressure holes on ancient tombs.Influence of structural stability,optimize design of waterproof curtain construction design;Taking the Liuzhong Tomb(National Cultural Relics Protection Unit)in Huaiyang City of Henan Province as an example,through the detailed investigation of its hydrogeological environment,the water seepage mechanism was analyzed,and the comprehensive prevention and control plan were also applied to its anti-seepage design.The design scheme was obtained as Recognition by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage.In summary,this paper comprehensively studied the value of ancient tombs and their architectural types,also analyzed the mechanism and causes of ancient tomb diseases,and finally established a comprehensive anti-seepage technology system for ancient tombs.The innovation of this paper is the sealing of high polymer water curtain which can be applied into the ancient tomb as a new improvement method.The research results have certain reference significance for the design and construction in similar conditions.
