China has a large number of grotto temple sites, and the carbonate grottoes has an important position.Overall, the number of caves in southern China is less than the northern region, and the layout of scattered,in addition to individual locations, the cliff as more than the cave.Due to the special stone properties of carbonate and the rainy climatic characteristics of the southern region, the disease of the grotto temple in the southern region has a certain degree of particularity. The concrete manifestation is that the seepage disease is serious, which also determines the southern cave temple.Anti-seepage and reinforcement protection is an important work of the protection of the grotto, but so far,the systematic research of engineering effect of the South Cave Temple anti-seepage protection project is few, which go against the future conducive protection. In this study,we illustrate the topic with the actual anti-seepage project of the cave temples, and make exploratory research of the evaluation method of the effect of the anti-seepage and reinforcement projects of the carbonate cliffs in the south, and we take the actual reinforcement project as a case and carry out a series of research work, including:continuous monitoring of water seepage during the pre-project,mid-and late-stage,analysis of the water seepage change in the engineering area, analysis of micro-environmental data changes before and after the reinforcement project, vibration monitoring during the construction process, surface exudation analysis after the cement grouting, and so on.On the basis of this,we summarize the evaluation methods of the anti-seepage and reinforcement engineering of the South Grottoes, and select out the evaluation indexes of the anti-seepage reinforcement effect of the grotto temple, including the evaluation of the seepage grade of the grotto temple, vibration evaluation of construction process, exudation analysis after cement grouting. The whole research is combination with the actual anti-seepage project of the grotto temple. This study has important reference value for the subsequent protection project and the protection of the statue similar to the grotto.Field monitoring shows that rainfall has an important impact on the seepage of the grotto. The above-mentioned evaluation method can be applied to the anti-seepage reinforcement project of the Yanxia cave and the second phase of the Feilai Peak.We can conclude that the seepage is serious in the early stage of the Yanxia cave, and the seepage of the Yanxia cave in the middle part of the project has been effectively alleviated.During the construction process, the the vibration velocity in Yanxia cave is almost zero, which has no obvious effect on the statues;and the seepage of the Feilai statues has been effectively alleviated after the second phase reinforcement project; No significant precipitation of salinity was found after the cement grouting project, however, the analysis of the composition of the sediments at the seepage site shows that there are a small amount of cement components(ettringite, calcium silicate, calcium aluminate and aluminum hydroxide),which requirs attention and long-term monitoring.
