Lu Cangyong's Attitude To Taking Office And Seclusion:On The Will Of Official Career Of The Recluse In The Tang Dynasty

As a political concept through every dynasty in ancient China,recluses is closely related to the survival idea,value orientation and social and political environment.However,in the Tang Dynasty when the political system was becoming more perfect and the culture and art enjoyed a prosperous development,seclusion also was in a mature situation.Based on the detailed analysis of official history,notes,novels,epitaphs and other information,this article is divided into four parts to discuss the new features of recluses in the Tang Dynasty in order to understand the living patterns of scholarly class of Tang Dynasty through Lu Cangyong,“the shortcut for fame and wealth”,as a breakthrough point.The first part discusses the family of Lu Cangyong.This part is discussed from two aspects: family doctrine and marital convention,focusing on senior branch of Beizu family of Lu Ancestry in Fan Yang.The second part explains the political career of Lu Cangyong.This part is discussed from two aspects: the official career of Lu Cangyong and the fate of him,among which his political ideal of literary bureaucrats is emphasized.The third part analyzes the phenomenon of “the shortcut for fame and wealth” in Tang Dynasty,which is focused on its social factors and social repercussions.The fourth part explains the“Fangwai shiyou”,and mainly discusses the circle of friends before Lu Cangyong's official career.
