A Study Of Official Transaction Prices In The Tang Dynasty

Price is an essential part of commodity trading.Grain price,cloth price and salt and iron price are not only the lifeblood of the economy of the feudal dynasty,but also the key factors that directly affect people's livelihood.As the price directly controlled by the central government,the official transaction price not only reflects the official control over the economic environment,but also relates to the balance of people's livelihood and finance.In the formation mechanism of official transaction price,its leading role and influencing factors,especially its relationship with national economy and people's livelihood,are all problems that need to be solved.The first part of this paper mainly expounds the manifestation of the official transaction price in the Tang Dynasty.The official currency of the Tang Dynasty follows the previous generation,taking the copper,cloth and silk as the official currency,while the copper and silk have their respective functions in the official transaction price: silk is applied to the national expenditure,silk horse trade,the substitute of copper money and the stable value of copper money.Copper money is used for official expenditure,poverty alleviation,price stabilization and monopoly of salt,tea and wine.The second part is the two ways to form the official transaction price in the Tang Dynasty.One is set official prices on the basis of market prices,transform,virtual and real price,another is the official price formed by the factors of commodity economy,ever-normal granary,the price of labor formulated by the officialsThe third part is the formation mechanism of the official transaction price in the Tang Dynasty and its influence on the national economy and people's livelihood.It first summarizes the leading factors and influencing factors of the formation of the official price,then studies the formation of the official transaction price in the Tang Dynasty before and after the chaos of an Shi period,and finally discusses the interaction between the official transaction price and the national economy and people's livelihood in the Tang Dynasty.
