| Yu Jing was a special political figure in the Northern Song Dynasty.He was appointed to the position of emperor Tian Sheng in the year of 1024 and died of illness in the first year of 1064.Yu Jing successively participated in and promoted the process of major political events,such as the event of Shui Luo City,the peace conference between Song and Xia,and the Nong Zhigao rebellion.Through the study of yu jing's border affairs activities,this paper tries to probe into yu jing's idea of doing politics and his role in border affairs activities,so as to probe into the political operation and the implementation of government affairs in the Ren Zong Dynasty.Firstly,during the Qing Li period,the construction of the northwest frontier city of Shui Luo City caused a huge controversy in the court.Among them,yu jing has written several letters about this matter.Yu Jing supported the construction of Shui Luo City on the issue of repair and abstaining.Yu Jing criticized Di Qing for his fair attitude towards liu hu.The transformation of yu jing's attitude is closely related to the complex political background and personal factors.Yu Jing's several petitions have played an important role in the proceedings in the events of Shui Luo City,which directly affected the final treatment of the city of Shui luo by Ren Zong.Secondly,in the four years of the Qing Li,the Song and Xia reached a formal agreement and signed the “Qing Li conference”,ending the war which lasted about six years.Yu Jing put forward a lot of proposals in the song and summer negotiations,which provided the appropriate strategy for the court to solve the conflict between the song and the summer.At the same time,in the Qing Li three times,four years and five years,yu jing wen to the Liao Dynasty with a flexible diplomacy to mediate between Qi Dan and Xi Xia,ease Song and Liao contradiction,promote the communication between the Song and Liao,stability of the border of the Northern Song Dynasty played a positive role.Although the specific goals of Liao were different,the ultimate goal of yu jing was to ease the conflict between the Song and Liao Dynasties and safeguard the interests of the Song Dynasty.Thirdly,in the year of 1052,Nong Zhigao raised his army against the Song Dynasty and captured Yong Zhou.The border area was in an emergency.Yu Jing consolidation after the army,add the wall,take the active defense policy,and is responsible for the counterinsurgency military commanders of the marrying general work together,finally pacify nong think high of disorderly,maintaining the peace and stability of the frontier.As a major participant in the pacification of Nong Zhigao rebellion,yu jing has shown great leadership and broad mind.Through the analysis of the Nong Zhigao incident and its final results,the diplomatic thoughts and policies of the song dynasty on the accommodation and compromise between the two peoples were also explored.Finally,in the year of 1053,yu jing moved to assistant minister,and continued to work in Gui Zhou after pacifying the Nong Zhigao rebellion.Yu Jing made many adjustments to the governance of Ling Nan area,stabilized the social security of Ling Nan,and promoted the recovery and development of Ling Nan economy.To sum up,yu jing affected outcome of the events Shui Luo City,contributed to Song Xia seconded reached smoothly,assisted the marrying general quelled nong think high insurgency,stable frontier situation,to promote the economic development of the Ling Nan,showed great talent in frontier affairs and governing concept of "honesty,morality".This paper analyzes the role and influence of yu jing in the activities of one system of border affairs,and provides a new basis and perspective for in-depth analysis of the political,economic and diplomatic situations in the period of Ren Zong. |
