From the middle of the nineteenth century to the beginning of the twentieth century, the international order of East Asia experienced the transition from the traditional East Asia regional order of China to the modern East Asian international order. The modern East Asian international order maintained and standardized the relations between countries with modern treaties and was based on the relations between China,Joseon and Japan. This paper mainly discusses the process and influence of East Asian regional order transformation from traditional to modern international order from the 1840s to early twentieth century and analyzes the changes in the relationship between China and Joseon,China and Japan in the modern East Asian international order. In the world situation of "Xi Shi Dong Jian",East Asian countries opened ports. The feudal forces in China and Joseon still possess absolute advantages in various fields.Only Japan embarked on the capitalist road after the Meiji Restoration, and finally went to the militaristic road of invading the surrounding countries. The traditional East Asian regional order must face the colonial expansion of the Western powers,as well as Japan's challenge to the traditional East Asian regional order in East Asia. The outbreak and result of the Sino-Japanese War of 1895 changed the contrast of the strength of East Asian society. The defeated Qing Dynasty announced the end of the traditional Sino-Joseon suzerain vassal relationship in the form of a treaty, and the central position of China in the traditional East Asian regional order was replaced by Japan, and the Sino-Japanese War of 1894 had been catalysis in the transition of the Eastern Asian order. After ten years of Japanese and Russian war,the two imperialist military groups were formed in East Asia. The "neutrality" of the imperialist powers, the "neutral neutrality" of the Qing Dynasty and the "neutrality" policy of Joseon made great changes in the balance of power and the scope of power in East Asia. The regional order of East Asia was greatly adjusted and the powers were strengthened. In the form of a treaty, the interests of the East Asia were adjusted and maintained in the form of a treaty.East Asia has formed a modern East Asian international order with the norms of modern treaties, the regulation of the relations between countries. In the modern East Asia international order, the contrast of social forces in East Asia changed greatly. The relationship between China and Joseon was characterized by "the relationship between the dependency and the independence",and the relationship between modern China and Japan was characterized by the change of "the transposition of the center and the edge".The transformation of the East Asian international order is a long process. In this process, the trend of the relationship between states is an important part of international relations and an important factor affecting the transformation of the international order.Through the study of the process and influence of the East Asian regional order from the traditional transformation to the modern East Asian international order,we have also obtained the concept of sovereignty and the practice of equal state relations since modern times, which left valuable historical wealth for the construction of the international order of East Asia in the new era.
