The Comparative Study Of The HSK 5 And IELTS Writing Test

As the development and strengthening of China,an increasing number of foreigners are learning Chinese;meanwhile,HSK gets more attention.In order to expand the Chinese,the HSK test is continuously developing and improving and after20 years,the test is gradually accepted by most of Chinese learners in domestic and overseas.However,due to its short formation time,there would be some problems.To tackle these issues,the IELTS test,which succeeded in the global promotion,accumulated abundant experience in both theory and practice,was accepted by more than 130 countries and familiar with the HSK,can afford us some solutions.Writing,which can reflect the language level of Chinese learners,is a key point and difficulty in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and most of Chinese learners are not adept at it.In view of this situation,this essay,based on HSK 5 and IELTS test design and content of the materials to study and compare their writing,tries to analyze the availability of HSK 5 writing.I hope to suggest some referential proposals for the future proposition and implementation of HSK5 writing to make it more complete.In the meantime,I will throw out my views and suggestions.This paper consists of six parts.The first one is introduction,trying to introduce the research reason,current situation,significance and objects and methods.The first chapter is mainly introduce the research theory,including language test theory and second language acquisition theory.The second chapter is the introduction of HSK and IELTS test.This part introduces the CEF(A Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning,Teaching,Assessment),and then gives a conclusion based on the analysis of two tests basic information and constituents.The third chapter is the types and topics comparative study on the writing of HSK5 and IELTS test.The fourth chapter proposes the improved direction of the HSK 5 and relative teaching and learning advices with the help of chapter three and four.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,summarizing the deficiencies and later studying direction.
