The battle of Pingcheng was a major event in the history of military history, both ethnic history and Western Han Dynasty. Therefore,it has received attention and research from scholars of the past and has achieved fruitful results. However, there are also certain areas that can be supplemented, improved, and even discussed. Most of the achievements have been made on the stand of the Han nationality. There are not many articles on the Xiongnu as a main perspective and a relatively comprehensive exploration of the battles of Pingcheng. The first chapter is to discuss the background, purpose and influence of the Battle of Pingcheng. The outbreak of the war was closely related to the catastrophic defeat of the Huns to the former Xiongnu and Central Plains regimes, and to the occurrence of natural disasters in the Huns' active area during the Mausundian period;Maedun was only trying to gain the experience of fighting with the Central Plains regime in Pingcheng by forcing Liu Bang.To yield to attain the purpose of “bowing by age”,and to choose to siege Liu Bang in Pingcheng,we should include considerations for the withdrawal of troops in the event of a loss of battle, that is,the use of local convenient transportation;the Huns, although gaining certain benefits after the war, have sustained damage to their“sacrifice” for a long time. The ethnic characteristics of the nation even succeeded in the Han Dynasty counterattack after the fall of Emperor Wudi. With regard to Liu Bang's performance in the battle of Pingcheng, academic circles have the so-called “great success” theory. The second chapter, combining the overall battlefield situation of the “substitution” and the strategic position of transportation in the vicinity of Pingcheng City, believes that “Gao Di first arrives at Pingcheng” and “takes the victory and advances to the north”.It is very likely that it will be to guard the surrogate army in the East Line and With the cooperation of Zhou Bo and the formation of a "pocket array" in the Pingcheng area of the west line, the purpose of encircling the Huns to the "Valley of the Valley" was finally achieved.Liu Bang's march is a practice of broad strategic ideas rather than "great greed." However, the prosecutor's plan to “stabbing the han” was effective, and the Han army lost its most precious time.Instead, the Huns first arrived in Pingcheng and surrounded Liu Bang, and Liubang's strategic concept failed.Although Liu Bang has a "white encirclement," the Han army did not have a disadvantage in the battle of Pingcheng."Ride on the ground," the main Han army led by Zhoubo gradually took the initiative on the battlefield. The Han army used this "advantage" as Opportunity to negotiate with the Huns, and ultimately Baidengshan to enlighten, the two sides to stop the soldiers, the traditional Han Dynasty,"thorough widows" to solve the problem is not enough argument. Some historical and geographical issues in the Battle of Pingcheng are also necessary for discussion. In the third chapter,on the aspect of transportationgeography, the issues of the route of the Zhoubo Army's march, especially whether it arrived in the Wuquan city of Yunzhong County, should be clarified. After the warfare of the House of Fans, the Zhoubo Army trodden along the building and desecrated the enemy. From the border ethnic situation of the Xiongnu and the Han Dynasty to Henandi, and the “Northern Expedition” path recorded in the “Jizhou Map”,and“Emperor's more than ten generations” to investigate the Huns and the “small and narrow” sentence, the valley route communication line,it was speculated that the Zhoubo Army should be sentenced to the “Wuquan ” at Huoren east 47 miles away, instead of the “Wuquan” in Yunzhong County. The fourth chapter discusses military geography issues, namely where Liubang is currently surrounded by "Baidengshan." Historical scholars used the Qin and Han Pingcheng as the basis for determining the Baidengshan. The so-called “Seven Miles”,“Seventeen Miles” and “Thirty Miles” all stated that they were northeast of Mapushan or Cailiangshan. From the historical records of "Baidengshan","high hundred feet," and "one mile",combined with investigations to see the natural appearance of the Mapushan,it is believed that Mapushan was surrounded by Liubang. In short, discussion of the Battle of Pingcheng from the viewpoint of the Huns and the national situation and the overall situation of the battlefield may help to understand the relevant history in a more comprehensive and clear manner, and grasp the long-term trend of the Han and Hun relations, and clarify the Liubang's behind;from Zhoubo concerning the war in Pingcheng, such as the marching route of the Corps, and military geography, have provided suspicions for historical records and scholars' opinions, and the research on the history of the "north side" of the Qin and Han dynasties was also helpful.
