In this paper,we propose a comparative study of the anchor teaching method and the traditional teaching method under the constructivist learning theory.The main purpose of this study is to inherit the characteristics of stability,controllability and extensiveness of the traditional teaching methods.In order to make up for the deficiency of traditional teaching method and to innovate modern physical education teaching method,the anchor teaching method is applied in sports dance teaching.In combination with the basic requirements of the new curriculum reform of physical education in China and the analysis of the present situation of sports dance teaching in higher vocational colleges,it is concluded that the students' awareness of active learning and the cognitive level of sports dance learning need to be improved.The Anchorage Teaching method is based on the study of Technology The foundation,taking the realistic situation as the content form,can enhance the students' ability to find problems,analyze and solve problems,stimulate students' enthusiasm in learning,and cultivate students' interest in learning.This paper adopts the methods of literature,expert interview,questionnaire investigation,experiment,comparative analysis and mathematical statistics.In the course of the research,the basic procedure of anchor teaching method is used: creating real situation,determining problems,and so on.Presentation of learning content;Autonomous learning and collaborative inquiry;effect evaluation;transfer training.The experimental group was tested and compared with the control group using traditional teaching method.Based on the above analysis,it is concluded that:(?)The application of anchored teaching method in sports dance teaching in higher vocational colleges is superior to the traditional teaching method in arousing students' learning motivation and cultivating their learning interest.(?)Anchored teaching method is suitable for the teaching of sports dance in higher vocational colleges,to a certain extent,it can stimulate students' learning desire,increase pleasure,and effectively cultivatestudents' lifelong learning consciousness.(?)Compared with the traditional teaching method,the anchored teaching method plays a significant role in improving the students' musical quality,musical rhythm discrimination and artistic expressiveness.
