| The idiom teaching is an important part of the teaching of international Chinese vocabulary.It is also an important window for mastering Chinese and understanding Chinese culture.It is concise,accurate,vivid,easy to understand,and informative,and idioms appear frequently when students study Chinese.However,the structure and semantics of idioms are not like normal vocabulary.Sayings have a strong cultura l background and belong to cultural words.When students study idioms,they can und erstand and master the idioms only if they understand the culture behind the idioms.However,the input of foreign students in the teaching is not so easy.Therefore,the teaching of idioms in international Chinese teaching is worth further discussion.This article first defines the relationship between culture and language teaching,and discusses the performance,role,and significance of culture in international Chinese language teaching.Then it elaborates the connotation of idioms and the status of idiom teaching in international Chinese teaching.By collecting foreign students’ errors in using idioms Chinese idioms,idioms,proverbs,and proverbs in learning Chinese,the causes of errors were analyzed.Then we study teaching strategies for errors.If teachers use effective teaching strategies when teaching proverbs,they will help students master the cultural connotation of idiom idioms and use idioms.It is hoped that the research content of this paper can be used for teaching Chinese as a foreign language. |
