Classroom teaching skills are teachers' steady and complex teaching behavior system based on the existing educational and theoretical knowledge and practice.Teaching skills have an important positive effect on teachers to achieve good teaching effects,creatively complete the established teaching task and realize the innovation of teaching methods.The purpose of this study is to explore the generative process of teachers' classroom teaching skills.The purpose of this study is to explore the formation process of teachers' classroom teaching skills.The object of this study is a primary English teacher,teacher S,which is rich in teaching experience in T city Y primary school,teacher S,as a case study.The research method adopts qualitative research.The methods of collecting data include observation,depth interview and data classification,analysis method and so on.The study found that the growth and accumulation of teaching skills of teacher S experienced the stage of imitation teaching,independent teaching stage,creative teaching stage,and unique style teaching stage respectively.In the stage of imitation teaching,teacher S has no teaching skills,can only blindly imitate others,lack practical experience completely and independent teaching ability,and who has the single teaching method.She was dependent on teaching reference completely.Through hard study and deficiency to seek help from excellent teachers,teacher S has entered the stage of independent teaching.At this stage,she began to design teaching independently.She can handle the emphasis and difficulty of teaching properly.It can also successfully draw experience from others and explore teaching skills.The individualized characteristics of teaching begin to appear.In the stage of creative teaching,S teachers not only enhance their confidence in teaching significantly,but also have a strong desire for creative teaching.She can break through the inherent teaching mode and constantly innovate teaching methods,which can effectively stimulate students' desire for learning.After a long period of practice,S teacher is now in a unique stage of teaching style.It is found that her teaching forms are flexible and varied,and the teaching process is optimized.Not only the teaching idea is new,but also the teaching activities show a strong personality.The students have been able to fully integrate into the classroom and become the leading role in the classroom.It is found that the process of teaching skill generation by teacher S shows that the formation of teaching skills is a long-term process.Teachers should continue to learn new knowledge.In the process of forming and accumulating teaching skills,especially taking more time to study teaching methods,accumulating teaching wisdom,and constantly putting the knowledge and skills which they have learned into practice.In classroom teaching practice,amount of practice and training are necessary for a teacher toform creative skills and unique teaching styles.The study also finds that learning from the important others in the process of teacher's skill generation,learning the teaching knowledge of the subject constantly,participating actively in the teaching and research activities,and continuous teaching reflection and practice are effective ways to generate teachers' teaching skills.Therefore,the school and the educational administrative department should strengthen the training of the teaching skills of the new teachers,communicate with each other actively,enlighten and develop each other,and promote the improvement of teaching skills.
