In the rapid development of the network today,people's way of life and thinking is quietly changing.A fast-paced lifestyle and intense work stress make it increasingly difficult to concentrate on lengthy readings.In this context,the combination of text,voice and image of the short video emerged.Short video is not a shortened version of long video,but a new type of content hosting.It reasonable use of the audience's fragmentation of time,to meet people's demand for self-expression and social sharing demands,by the majority of the audience's favorite.The popularity of smartphones and 4G networks has broken the time and space constraints of video consumption,providing external support for the development of short video.Looking at the current short video industry,there are a large number of works,a wide range of audiences,and a high number of broadcasts,all of which are not possible with traditional TV food programs.Since ancient times,food for the first necessity of the people,the rapid development of the economy has also led people to the pursuit of quality of life.Food category short video as a vertical content subdivision of one of the short video types,with exquisite short,fresh screen,strong visual impact and so on,a change in the past recipes teaching-style gourmet TV programs,the abstract,boring text pictures into a video image again presented.Since the media age,everyone is the spokesperson,as more and more food type short video into the market also exposed some problems,due to the industry multi-dimensional threshold of the reduction,resulting in uneven levels of producers,food category short video content there is a large gap.Based on the above situation,select the typical food short video in the current media platform as the research object,through the literature analysis,data analysis,observation analysis and other research methods,the artistic expression of the food short video is studied.Referring to the related research report,the three development stages of short video industry: germination period,exploration period and growth period,and the characteristics of high information acceptance,close to life,content making UGC and strong infectious force are obtained by combining the playing environment and audience characteristics of food short video.Combining with specific cases,the focus will be on the narrative language and audiovisual language of food-based short videos,attempting to explore the artistic expression characteristics of short food videos.Starting from the perspective of narrative,the short video of food shows a narrative theme of “with a small see big” and narrative features of story and narrative features of postmodernism.From the perspective of audiovisual language,it interprets the images and music of short food videos.Editing and artistic expression of visual elements.In addition,in conjunction with graduation works,it is pointed out that in the future development of food-based short videos,individual styles should be highlighted while focusing on content,and higher quality presentations should be pursued on the basis of ensuring the originality of the works,and attention should be paid to balance the relationship between artistry and commercialization.In order to provide some ideas for the development of the same type of short video.
