Research On The Application Of Peking Opera Elements In The Design Of Animated Characters

Beijing Opera is a treasure of Chinese national culture.It has rich modeling and action elements.The combination of Beijing Opera and animation has enjoyed a great reputation on the international stage as early as the last century,and many animated images with national characteristics have been born.Nowadays,the development of Chinese animation is moving forward steadily.How to create animation works with Chinese characteristics and national style has always been a problem that animation artists continue to explore.It is an important factor in the success of the animation.Combining the elements of Beijing Opera with the animated characters can not only create the character with national characteristics,improve the connotation of the works,but also make the Chinese animation take the responsibility of cultural inheritance.In this paper,Peking Opera elements are divided into two aspects: Modeling and action.The elements of Beijing Opera modeling are divided into two aspects of makeup and dress,and according to the four categories of "Sheng,Dan,Jing,Mo",the elements of Beijing Opera and the design of animated characters are combined to find out the common points in the design of make-up,clothing and accessories,and the action feature and the formula of the action in the exploration of the action elements of Beijing opera.The classic animation role and Peking Opera action elements one by one correspondence analysis.By summarizing the concepts and characteristics of the animations design and of the Peking Opera,and the case of successful application in the excellent animation,this paper analyzes how to apply the elements of Beijing opera to the design of the animation role and the practice of the author.Provide reference for designers and people in the same industry.
