Analysis Of Stroke Texture In Oil Painting

Stroke texture is a kind of subjective factor in the oil painting creation.It uses the language elements of shape,line and color to form the whole picture,reflecting the balance between lines and colors.Therefore,the using of stroke texture in the oil painting plays a decisive role.Stroke texture has rich and varied forms of expression,such as the simple summary,the small bits and pieces,the repeated accumulation and the naturally flowing.Among them,the random flowing brushwork can show the beauty of nature,the rampant and unrestrained brushwork can reflect a certain sense of intelligence,the realistic brushwork can make the picture more sense of space and so on.Therefore,this article will start with three aspects in oil painting,such as the conception,the forms and the using.Based on the classical oil painting,and my own creation practice,this paper will analyze the different effects of different brushwork forms in oil painting,to find the characteristics of oil stroke texture.So that we can better guide our future creative practice.
