The living of human beings cannot separate from metaphor,and the history of studying metaphor can be traced back to two thousand years ago.The process had experienced the figure of speech and semantic structure before entering cognitive phase in 1970 s.At this stage,rooted from initial words modifiers,metaphor theory had suddenly become the essence of human thoughts.However,the amount of metaphor study showed a slow move.This is because after a high pace of development,the study itself required Integration and precipitation.This report chose to apply semiology into the study of metaphor based on the theory that,compared to other subject systems,semiology can relate to metaphor to a greater limit,and it is conducive to a more systematic and comprehensive metaphor study.British TV-series <Black Mirror> is a scientific and drama mini TV show aired on British Channel 4.Until now,four seasons had broadcasted on the screen,and each45-minute episode telling an independent story.With the help of social technology penetration as well as the elements of colour of darkness rendering,social reality and the weakness of human beings were exposed in the story-telling.<Black Mirror> is a mini TV show applied with strong sense of metaphor.In the past,the study of relations between films and TV programs semiology and metaphor was not systematic,and metaphor was considered as a way of symbolic expression,without analysing the cause of metaphor creation and how it produced in details.This report aims to analyse the relation of metaphors in <Black Mirror> based on the methodology of semiology.Also aiming to starting from the basic structure of metaphor,analysing the structure and dynamic elements according to the development of the structure.Drawn from the analysis of metaphor of figures,lines,pictures and audios in <Black Mirror>,the TV shows reflect a series of psychological conditions of contemporary society.
