The emergence and rise of the low class writing have a deep social foundation.In the period of social transformation in China,people at the bottom strata are live in an extremely difficult situation.Their suffering is the epitome of the whole society.The bottom-writing is aimed at ruthless and real disclosure of the existence and misery of the bottom of the society,which has caused the attention of the literary circles and all walks of life.This undoubtedly promoted the development of literature and even the progress of the entire society.As pioneer writers of the era,Chinese contemporary writer Yu Hua and Japanese modern writer Kobayashi Duoji both are pay close attention to the living conditions of the bottom population of the society.Their creations have done rich and profound bottom-writing,and creating a lot of typical,vividly and alive individual or group characters which gives a true description of the survival status of the bottom population.In the bottom literary works of two writers,they fully expressed the misery at the bottom of the society,and they both expressed compassion and humanitarian concern for the people at the bottom strata.Their ideological and artistry are deserve to repeated study.And in terms of the two writers are live in different countries,nations,and times,their creations has their own characteristics.This article starting with the personal experience and life background of the two writers,and compares the themes,the characters,the scene and the environment,and the artistic expression of the writings of the two writers,and analyzes the similarities and differences in their creations.And explore their own characteristics in the bottom-writing.Specifically,it starts from the following aspects: First,it clarifies the meaning of the bottom-writing from the subject aspect,sorts out the relationship between the bottom-writing and realism,and further analyzes the influence of expression of the theme in their writings from the personal growth experience and social background;Secondly,from the perspective of the bottom-writing two,to analyze the similarities and differences of the two people's creations in the portrayal of characters,environment,and scene descriptions,in this way concludes that Yu Huaexcelled at the modeling of individual images,while Kobayashi Duoji focuses on creating characteristics of group images.In addition,they all like to use side descriptions,and they all have performed detailed or profound descriptions of the scenes of violence.Third,in terms of artistic techniques,they focus on searching the similarities and differences of the two writers in lyrical manners,description techniques,and narrative features.What is common is that both Yu Hua and Kobayashi Duoji used the symbolic depiction techniques and repeated description techniques in their works.The main difference is that from the perspective of lyricism,Yu Hua often used indirect lyricism,while Kobayashi Duoji used directly lyrical more frequently.Fourth,in terms of narrative features,Kobayashi's description is more subtle and euphemistic,and the narrative of the text is relatively simple and the story of the work is easy to understand,while Yu Hua's narrative style of writing is rich and varied,it is not only poetic but also peaceful and rational.Based on this,the study on the bottom-writings of the two writers has obvious literary value and social significance.
