A Study Of Zhang Yuanbian And His Poetry

Zhang Yuanbian was a famous scholar of the heart and poet in the middle and late Ming Dynasty,he was a champion of Zhejiang Province in Longqing five years of Ming Dynasty.When the poetic circles was transferred from retro style to anti-retro style,Zhang Yuanbian and other people had played an important leading role.This dissertation takes Zhang Yuanbian and his poetry as the object,in order to restore the changing course of poetry style in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.The dissertation is divided into seven parts:introduction,the body of the four chapter,conclusion and appendix.The introduction mainly expounds on the current situation of Zhang Yuanbian in academic circles,summarizes the research content of this topic,introduces the research methods and explains the research significance.The first chapter investigates Zhang Yuanbian's family,life,traveling and writings,mainly makes a research on his life,summarizes and checks the existing literature works and editions.The second chapter is the theory of Zhang Yuanbian's poetic theory.The poetry was very popular retro style in Jiajing and Wanli of the Ming Dynasty,Zhang Yuanbian was influenced by retro style,but he still maintained a sense of self consciousness,and then he put forward a poetics point of view: “the sound of people's hearts”.Therefore,he also constructed a new thought of poetic creation and the principle of artistic appreciation.The third chapter is the content of Yuanbian Zhang's poetry.The chapter can be classified into three groups in terms of theme: the realistic poems,the lyric poems and the philosophical poems.The fourth chapter is the artistic feature of Zhang Yuanbian's poetry.The diversify of Zhang Yuanbian's aesthetic taste resulted in the artistic features change in his poetry.We can generalize from three aspects as follows: quiet and elegant appreciation,untrammelled and excited lyrical way as well as the inspiration of polishing words and sentences.The conclusion discusses the literary significance of Zhang Yuanbian's Poetry,itis concluded that the central idea is practice,this idea is based on his social responsibility.The appendix is Zhang Yuanbian chronicle.
