After the defeat of the first Opium War,the Qing government allowed foreigners to spread religion and establish schools and hospitals at trading ports.So far,economic and cultural exchanges between China and Western powers are increasing.Japan’s rapid rise after Meiji restoration has become a new target for China to learn from the west to save itself.At that time,missionaries and Japanese came to China to actively disseminate Western learning,and the Chinese who went to the west to study abroad also left much knowledge and opinions about western learning.Today,China’s influence on the international stage has gradually increased,and cultural exchanges between China and other countries are becoming more frequent.In order to promote Chinese culture to move towards the world better,we should review and reflect on the spread of previous western learning in China.This article hopes to explore the way of the spread of Western learning in China through the travel notes left by the Chinese and Western cultural exchanges,and to point out the significance of the spread of Western learning in the late Qing Dynasty to the modernization of Chinese education,and to learn how to spread China better in the current Chinese International Education by learning from the experiences and lessons of the spread of Western learning in China at the time.Culture provides some inspiration.This article is divided into three parts,namely,introduction,text and epilogue,of which the body is divided into four chapters.The introduction part introduces the research significance and research status of the thesis,points out the generality of the spread of Chinese culture to the outside and the spread of Western learning in the late Qing Dynasty,and defines the concept of the late Qing Dynasty and the western learning.Chapter one is the cultural dissemination of missionaries in China.This chapter begins with a brief account of the background of foreign missionaries coming to China.On this basis,this chapter analyzes the improvement of cultural communication strategies and cultural communication content by missionaries in the process of disseminating Western learning.The second chapter is about Japanese cultural communication in China.This chapter first briefly describes the background of cultural communication in Japan,and on the basis of this,analyzes the ways in which Japanese culture is disseminating talents.The third chapter is about the influence of Western learning in China at the end of Qing Dynasty on China at that time.This chapter focuses on the influence of Western missionaries,Japanese explorers,and overseas students on western education in China.The fourth chapter is the revelation of the spread of Western learning in China at the end of Qing Dynasty to the dissemination of Chinese culture in Chinese international education.By summing up the cultural communication methods and Strategies of the western missionaries and Japanese,and summing up the experience and lessons in order to have more ideas and inspiration for the dissemination of Chinese culture in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.The concluding part affirms the significance of the cultural exchange between China and the west at that time to the modern Chinese education,and pointed out that the successful experience of the western learning in China in the late Qing Dynasty is helpful to the exchange and integration of Chinese culture and other cultures,and the Enlightenment from the lessons of its failure will help to reduce the resistance of the Chinese culture to spread out.
