On The Shaping Of The Role Of "Pearl" In The Opera(Morning Star)

The morning star is a historical national opera which could evoke one's praises and tears,directed by Weiming Wang and created by Jingran Li in May,1979,this opera eulogize the Turgut people's patriotic heroic undertakings in which they went through many hardships and overcame varieties of difficulties and eventually went back their homeland.Through the understanding of the time background of the opera's generation,earnest carding of the opera's development context and the background analysis of the plot as well as the opera's creation,this paper makes an explicit introduction of the relations among the main characters and the character traits of the heroine “Pearl”in this opera.Additionally,through the analysis and exploration of the aria pursuing my dear Gossan by the heroine “Pearl”in the opera morning star,the paper better manifests the music spirits and the meaning of the opera using dramatic singing,on the basis of the singing analysis of the aria pursuing my dear Gossan and by the management of the sound,the control of breath,the expression of affections and the stage performance and so on,this aria is deduced in a better way and the heroine “Pearl”'s conflicting emotions can be truly felt,and in this way the character“Pearl”is molded dramatically.
