A Brief Analysis On The Singing Tune And Role Shaping Of "Haitang" In Opera "Mount Yimeng"

Opera "Mount Yimeng",a national original opera with War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression as the main line,was written by Wang Xiaoling and composed by Luan Kai in 2017,which narrates the touching stories of the people of Mount Yimeng and soldiers of the 8th Route Army supporting each other,defying the sacrifice and resisting Japan together at all times of life and death,and promotes the patriotic spirit of the Chinese nation.On the one hand,through understanding the historical background of the opera,earnestly combing the plot content and storyline,the background of opera creation and the development vein,this paper defined the relationship between the main characters in the play and the character characteristics of the leading lady "Haitang" in the Opera,who is kind,honest,forthright,strong and revolutionary.On the other hand,based on the musical analysis and singing processing of musical structure,voice(singing tune)processing,charm control,breath control,emotional expression and stage control,the paper analyzes the two selected passages "Heaven,open your eyes" and "Mount Yimeng,Eternal Father and mother" sung by "Haitang" in the Opera "Mount Yimeng",and furthermore,manifests the drama conflicts in the opera.It helps the author to better understand the work,use the dramatic singing method to express the music,connotation and spirit of the Opera,truly feel the inner contradictions and conflicts of "Haitang",understand the character characteristics of "Haitang" in the Opera,summarize the experience of "Haitang" in the role shaping process,and drawing insights.It plays an important guiding role in the dramatic portrayal of "Haitang".
