On The Importance Of Singing Techniques Of "Ornamentation" To The Interpretation Of Musical Style

"Ornamentation" is an important part of the melody.They appear more or less in almost every aria,and their singing methods and singing style are also different.More importantly,they closely affect the style of the entire music.So the appropriate use of "ornamentation" can make the music more infectious.For us Chinese vocal singers and learners,to make Western vocal music more authentic is not easy.When we first started to learn to sing,we did not master the skills and essence of vocal music learning.In the past10 years of vocal music learning,the author has come to realize that vocal music learning is not only to show off the singer's singing skills,vocal range or pitch,but to demonstrate the style of music and the beauty inside the music through their own cultivation according to their own understanding and interpretation of the work.This thesis focuses on the three soprano arias such as Piangero la sorte Mia,Non Mi Dir,and Bel raggio lusinghier in Baroque,Classical and Romantic period.This paper tries to study the "ornamentation" in the melody of the three soprano arias,to study the expression form,singing techniques and characteristics of "ornamentation" and the different interpretations of different singers so as to explore the importance of singing techniques to music style.
