The Applicability Of Yan Regular Script To Computer Font

In this thesis,Yan regular script is applied to the development of Chinese font in the computer as the research object.By studying the characteristics and development requirements of Chinese fonts,Yan regular script is analyzed as "case" and combined with the main forms of computer font development today,which extracts the application features of Yan Zhenqing script.On the other hand,Yan regular script is the most commonly used font in computer fonts.So we select three representative typefaces of Yan regular script,and discuss how to compare the advantages and disadvantages of their respective characters.It not only aimed to preserve the artistry of calligraphy,but also achieve the function of computer typeface for reading.Yan regular script is suitable for the point of computer font which reflects the characteristics,needs and generalities of the development of computer calligraphy type.What's more,it will also bring inspiration to the designers and students of graphic design.Last but not the least,we will summarize the inheritance and challenge of the design and development of Chinese font to make a change.
