In the special operations of aerospace and other fields,it is often necessary to complete perspective taking operations.Spatial perspective taking(SPT)refers to the process of mentally adopt and represent the spatial relationships from the other's viewpoints.It is necessary to further study the influence factors and processing mechanism of spatial judgment between multiple objects during perspective taking.The current research used experiments to investigate the effects of environment on SPT of multiple objects.In addition,we used eye-tracking technique to explore the eye movement mechanism.The current study was composed of two experiments.The first experiment is a behavior research on whether different desktop shapes impact on the spatial judgment between multiple objects during perspective taking.The second experiment is an eye movement research on the mechanism of the spatial judgment between multiple objects on different desktops during perspective taking.The experimental results showed that:(1)The behavioral results verified that,with the disparity of the avatar's and the participant's perspectives,general pattern of spatial judgment between multiple objects,this pattern appeared that participant's performance for spatial judgments change like sawtooth,and the performance was better from orthogonal perspectives(parallel to participant's egocentric reference system)than oblique perspectives.(2)The geometrical properties of environment didn't impact on general pattern of SPT,impact on few avatar's perspectives,but it will affect the performance of individual perspectives.(3)Oblique perspectives might require more visual attention resources of participants.(4)The results of eye movement also found that participants used environment/background as a reference more than avatar in SPT,participants would set up an environment reference system to complete the task.The above experimental results can be used to help guide the development of collaborative work training systems and intelligent escape systems,so as to improve the performance of collaborative tasks from different perspectives in special situations.
