In the development history of Chinese calligraphy,official script is a kind of calligraphy with special status,the process of its development and change is usually called " the evolution of official script".The content of official script mainly includes two aspects of official script brushwork and official script character method,which are complementary and mutually promote each other.The evolution and development of official script brushwork will inevitably lead to changes in the form and structure of official script,and changes in the structure of official script will affect the official script brushwork.In this paper,the author chooses to explore the writing method of official script,focusing on the analysis of the evolution of the writing method of official script and innovative application.In order to analyze the brushwork of official script,we need to sort out the development process of official script.The background of the formation of official script is summarized in three aspects: the social background of the formation of official script,the material basis of the formation of official script and the subjective requirements of the development of calligraphy;The development process of official script is summarized in five periods: spring and autumn period and warring States period,Qin dynasty to the eastern Han dynasty development period,the eastern Han dynasty heyday,the Qing dynasty again peak period and the new development period of reform and opening up.In each period of development,the brushwork of official script is changing correspondingly.In general,the strokes are simplified into simple ones.the " wave potential" of brushstroke appears on the writing style and gradually evolves into " the tail of silkworm head and wild goose",the wave-chime strokes appear and are further standardized,and gradually get rid of the structure of seal script,the style is diverse and the testimonies are complete,and the writing style is more changeable.This paper makes a systematic analysis of the brushwork methods of officialscript.Through the summary of the style of official script,this paper lists the different characteristics of the brushwork style of official script under different styles of writing;Through the analysis of different styles of brushwork in the form of characters and diagrams,this paper expounds the specific application of official script brushwork in combination with specific works;This paper expounds the innovative application and development trend of the official script brushwork method through the actual expression forms of the brushwork method and the composition method in the works;This paper sums up the writing characteristics and the writing trend of modern official script: breaking the tradition in brushwork style,the silkworm head and wild goose tail is no longer the only standard to test whether the brushwork style is official script or not,and more forms of official script brushwork style are constantly emerging.
