The Salem's witchcraft in the winter of 1692 has been the focus of North American witch hunting history research. It has the typical characteristics of a general hunting witch movement-at the time of social change, the victims are mostly women. One of the important reasons for this result is the collective unconsciousness that exists in witchcraft beliefs.Jung proposed the theory and prototype of collective unconsciousness. He believes that it comes from the innate inheritance of ancestral experience and exists in people's memory.People can seek collective unconscious projections from myths and legends, dreams, and witchcraft beliefs. It is the historical basis for the continuation of collective unconsciousness.Collective unconsciousness has a very important guiding role in the occurrence and development of events when it is triggered.Under the witch's archetype hint,it leads people to associate female prejudice with devilology in witchcraft beliefs, making people more inclined to believe Women are prone to temptation to contract with the devil and become witches who cause disasters.According to the Witch Prototype Theory, old and widowed women who were misbehaving on the edge of social status became witch candidates. In this paper, the female collectives in Salem's witchcraft cases are the main objects of description, and their collective unconscious performance is analyzed.Starting with the maids Tumba,Marsala Goode and the famous Brigitte Bishop cases, try to find out from their seemingly absurd testimony that they are always closely related to women and witches.Linked together collective unconscious projection and use. Then using time as a clue, analyze the role and influence of female collective unconsciousness on the trial of witches. This paper divides the role of collective unconsciousness into suggestive role, herd role and ambiguous role. With the help of prototypes, people quickly find victims with the characteristics of witches. The herdmentality led people to follow the accuser's footsteps and accused all the suspicious people around him, even neighbors and relatives,of the witchcraft investigation. The ambiguous role of responsibilities also leads people to behave unscrupulously when accusing others, and to abuse the specious evidence to take the opportunity to retaliate, eventually leading to the failure of the trials of the witch trials and accelerating the end of the Salem witch trials.Collectively, the collective unconscious has always existed in people's memory, and when triggered,it influenced the thoughts and actions of each participant of Salem's witchcraft cases, resulting in a collective resonance and caused by unconscious implied methods.People's emotional fluctuations led people at the time to target unpopular women and eventually led to a large number of female victims.
