In the course of the history of China's 100-year movie,minority films are an important part of the film.As the first Tibetan director,Wanma Caidan's film creation presents self-style and subjective consciousness from the noumenon and cultural connotation of the film.Influenced by the aesthetics of documentaryism,Wanma Caidan has formed his own film experience and has focused on exploring the relationship between film and reality.In "The Hometown Trilogy in Tibet," Wanma Caidan's film creation uses fixed-length lenses,long-range/panoramic scenes,and real ambient sound in the form of images.He pays close attention to the real life of the current Tibetan land on the narrative.It emphasized the extraction of daily life events,played down the dramatic contradictions and conflicts,and presented the real life outlook of Tibetan areas.The creation of Wanma Caidan in this period is manifested as a manifestation of documentaryism.?THARLO? shows a decline in the style of documentaryism,showing the tendency of European modernist films.The technique of the film is manifested in the diversification of techniques,such as fixed/long-range long shots,symbolic composition,mirror image,separation of sound and pictures,and the use of popular dramatic scenarios in narrative methods.Tallow is not only different from a general commercial feature film,but also different from an avant-garde film that does not participate in commercial circulation.But movies have a symbolic tendency to submit to transcendental a priori.There are two reasons why Wanma Caidan's creative style changes.On the one hand,faced with the pressure of distribution under the context of consumer culture,the creators adjusted their creative styles to adapt to the market.This way,they can seek funding recovery channels,and they can also communicate with ordinary audiences in a public space like cinemas to accept audiences.Interpretation and rewriting of works.On the other hand,it is the creator's creative change.While continuing the Tibetan narrative identity narrative,Wanma Caidan ?THARLO?focuses on biding farewell to the modernity experience in the revolutionary era.The film tries to tell a universal identity anxiety story and hopes to discover the spiritual state of the entire era.Wanma Caidan's creative changes have enriched his style and also reflected his efforts to adapt to the audience.However,there is still a dilemma of being alienated by the audience.The too obvious symbolic symbols in the movie are also questionable.
